For those in search of good sound digitizing solution, the PolderbitS Sound Recorder and Editor is a great solution, with the help of which the user can digitize the audio recording of cassettes, tapes, vinyl LP’s and others to record it on a CD/DVD. The latest edition has improved sound source selection in Windows Vista, along with other systems having multiple sound cards.
The user can monitor sound sources or USB devices that do not have a direct speaker connection, while recording as well. The utility also has many cool options such as capability to determine the length of silence in between tracks, analysis of the recording starts when the track splitter windows is first opened, provides the option to split tracks in the middle of detected silences, or split tracks on the start and end of sound plus an optional fade-in and out. What’s more, the user can even split a recording in equally sized tracks as well as in a given amount of tracks.
The Recorder also displays the percentage of the recording volume setting and in case the volume is too high then it warns about saturation. Moreover, the Recording Timer window also has the option to automatically save a timed recording and then exit the Recorder. |
